Supporting Riding for the Disabled in Dunedin
Dunedin Riding for the Disabled (DRDA) is a not-for-profit organisation helping people through therapeutic horse riding and horse care. Their mission, since 1973, has been to help build confidence, independence and increased wellbeing.
The DRDA doesn’t receive any government funding, instead, it relies on grants, corporate sponsorships, generous donations and an amazing group of volunteers to help with running the programme.
Unifone has been supporting the Dunedin Riding for the Disabled for over two years with a free VDSL connection at their Dunedin facility.
Through providing a free internet service to DRDA, their website, social media and online accounting can all be easily completed with just a few clicks. Some of the DRDA team have found the internet service so reliable with Unifone, they’ve decided to make a switch with their home connection too.
Rachel Currie, from DRDA, says, “We are really appreciative of the support and sponsorship Unifone provides us - it's really kind of them and makes a huge difference to how we're able to operate.”
